Information on this site

The answers and figures on this site are general information about chimneys, with a source named wherever there is one. They are not an inspection of your chimney: what it needs is decided once someone has looked at it.

Booking requests

Sending the booking form is a request, not a confirmed appointment. We phone you to agree a time, and any work is settled with you before it begins.

SMS program terms

  • Program: HOB Chimney Sweep and Repair Aurora text messages. When you check the SMS consent box on a form on this website and submit the form, you agree to receive automated text messages from HOB Chimney Sweep and Repair Aurora about replies to service requests and appointment reminders at the phone number you provided.
  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply to the messages we send you and to the messages you send us.
  • To cancel, reply STOP to any message. We will send you one message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After that you will not receive more text messages from us unless you opt in again.
  • For help, reply HELP to any message or contact us at (983) 213-4946.
  • Consent is not a condition of purchase.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to opt in.
  • Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information, including your mobile number.

Photos and credits

The landscape photos come from Wikimedia Commons and are credited, with their licenses, in the footer; some show other parts of Aurora and the Denver area, and not every one is a picture of the place it appears beside. This site has no photographs of our own work: the drawn chimney parts, marked as illustrations, show what each term means.
